The warm days are coming to an end… here in Chicago, it’s going to get very cold, very fast. In preparation I’ve already started shopping around for new, trendy coats. I think it is safe to say that a long fur coat (faux included) is the trend of the season!
If you can invest in one coat this season, it should be long, fuzzy, and in a beautiful color. This style can be worn day to night, casual to black tie, and looks glam no matter what. Since there are so many options and so many ways to style them, I sorted it all out for you in one blog post!

To transition to an evening look, I would wear this belted coat over a cocktail minidress. The length of the coat is the best part, so your legs are extra warm! I added booties because they are my uniform, but you could pair it with a great pop of color pump as well.
