MUST-HAVE DENIM + MY NEW FAVORITE BRANDS

It’s finally starting to feel like fall in Chicago after quite a few warm days. To me, fall means breaking out the best denim in my closet and searching Chicago high and low for all the amazing new brands and styles!
The pair of jeans I’m wearing in these photos is History Repeats from Intermix. I found them on the sale rack, and they were my size, yay! This Italian brand has been one of my absolute must-haves for a while. The high-waisted style is my favorite and of course their signature embellished look — gold stars for this pair — are very on trend this year. And the coolest part is that they are made from vintage Levis. And you know how much I love mixing old and new.
My go-to way to style denim in the fall is with a white button down or a white tank and then throwing on a chunky cardigan and a great pair of boots.

As much as I love these History Repeats jeans, I found a new style at FELT Chicago last week thanks to a client who was looking for denim. If you follow along with me on Instagram, you probably saw that I fell in love with a high skinny split-hem pair by Frame. This is a wonderful brand for their cool designs and great fit. They’re based out of L.A. but are inspired by European fashion. Go check out my Instagram feed to see the jeans on me at the boutique!

Another one of my favorite deigners right now that’s not denim is Dana Rebecca Designs. She designs the most beautiful jewelry and is my favorite Chicago-based jewelry designer! Her rings and bracelets are dainty and stackable, which is exactly what I love. And the organic shape of the necklace and earrings I’m wearing is so gorgeous! In fact, we might be collaborating on a project. Shhhh!! 😉 You’ll hear more on that very soon!

The Oxidized silver double diamond bracelet is also by a Chicago-based jewelry designer, Imperfect Grace. Her designs are inspired by patterns of Ukrainian embroidery. This bracelet has lots of elements that are close to my heart and it became my little talisman since I got it in May on my birthday.
