holiday outfits in a pandemic

With the craziness of 2020, everyone needs a dose of comedy and fashion in their life. Which is exactly why Andrea Levoff and I are partnering up to bring you “Catwalks and Cackles”, a virtual (and live) event with the 900 shops. I will be talking 2021 trends and styling holiday outfits during the pandemic, and Andrea will be making us laugh the whole time! The must-see event is happening next Thursday 12/17 at 4pm, and yes, it’s happening virtually AND it’s complimentary. Plus there are 10 limited VIP spots available, keep reading for details. Since I know you can’t wait, I’m giving you a sneak peek on the blog today…

I am pinching myself that I am able to partner with 900 shops to get you in the holiday spirit and (virtually) bring you holiday shopping with me this year. I don’t do a lot of partnerships but this was so organic and authentic for me, because I shop there all the time. My kids and I love the mall, it’s a 1-stop shop for all of us, including a chic food court and the cutest Santa and Tommy the Elf additions for the holidays.

Even if you are spending the holidays on zoom, there is still an opportunity to dress up. My family is overseas, so I am with you. I really recommend getting dressed up anyway! It will really give you that boost of confidence and holiday spirit, and you might be surprised how much fun it is. For my holiday dress I went bold but elegant, with this edgy tulle corset dress from BCBG, and styled it with combat boots.

I also accessorized with such simple jewelry, because this dress is already a statement. My festive heart black druzy necklace is Bellina Caetano and she is still offering 20% off your purchase, in store or online using promo code “TALI”.

Matching loungewear is easily the hottest trend out there. Who said you need to take off your sweats to leave the house in a pandemic? You absolutely don’t have to. Not only is loungewear already super trendy and street style-worthy, you can make it look extra stylish by adding heels and a fun statement coat.

By the way, did I mention Bloomingdale’s Home is finally open in the 900 shops? They moved from their location down the street, which is so much more convenient to have both Bloomingdale’s all in one stop at the mall.

Join us next Thursday to hear more holiday outfits tips and the hottest trends for 2021. And of course hearing Andrea’s comedy! Personally I can’t wait. Yes the event is complimentary and virtual, so all of you can join me, but if you’re looking for a little extra, you can snag a VIP ticket. There are only 10 VIP spots available, tickets are $150 and include a $100 gift card and $50 donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Plus a special happy hour…
