THE COMBAT BOOTS WE’RE LIVING IN THIS SPRING (FOR EVERY BUDGET)

Combat boots have been around forever, but the styles are always changing. For instance, I wore combat boots when I served in the Israeli military–but those combat boots I wore with my uniform are much different from how I wear them now! I have always been drawn to the edgy, military style, which I love to pair with super feminine pieces to create unexpected outfits.

A few months ago, I splurged on this pair of Roger Vivier combat boots, and I have definitely gotten my money’s worth. I bought them when I was hosting this DVF event— I was planning to wear a gown but I didn’t want to look like I was going to a wedding, so I needed an edgy shoe. At first I didn’t think combat boots would work, but as soon as I tried them on, I couldn’t take them off!

Now, I wear these boots at least once a week. Being a mom on the go, I always need to prioritize comfort in my everyday shoes.
